Mohan-

I was born in a communist family. Dad was a well respected communist
leader. After the university education, became a professor of life science
at the age of 23. While teaching the theory of evolution, I understood
the lies about it and started looking for truth. While reading the Bible for
a long time, I came to realize the need for a Saviour and became a
believer. After 15 tears of teaching, I left the job, went to the USA and
studied for the ministry [by then, married with two kids]. For four years
we served with a small mission board in Calcutta as church planters.
In 1999 we joined ABWE. Since 2002, we have been ministering in
the UK witnessing among the Bangladeshis, the majority of whom are
the followers of Islam.

Leina

She was born into a Hindu family. Her father was a cultic leader. He
used to teach the local language to the Baptist Mid Mission’s workers.
They gave him a Bible and it stayed in a box for 12 years. Once he was
bedridden with partial paralysis and he started reading the scripture. It
didn’t take long for him to put his faith in Jesus. Gradually all the six
children came to faith and all of them are serving the Lord till this day.
Leina is blessed with the gift of singing. She did a few degrees in the
field of music. This has been proven to be a great blessing in the
ministry. She has written and recorded songs in Bengali, which are
being used in a few countries. She also counsels people with mental
issues.
