Jon felt a call to missions at the age of eleven and won his first souls to Christ at the age of twelve and also began preaching at that time. After Bible college graduation he and his wife lived in California where he served as youth and bus director. He organized the church’s camp ministry and street preaching ministry. They moved to Georgia then came back to California and pastored Believers Baptist Church. In 1986 Jon resigned from the church and incorporated the Final Frontiers Foundation. The foundation has sponsored more than 1400 preachers in seventy-four nations and sponsored more than 31,000 churches.
In 2006, Jon’s wife, Juanita, passed on to heaven and in 2008 Jon remarried, Nolin, who travels with him and is a great asset to his life and ministry.
